Innovation of services and skills proven from the sands of Afghanistan and in the first responder communities of Canada ...
...that's what I'm offering you. I’m a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force with almost 30 years of service, having retired in 2012. Following that experience I worked within the RCMP as an executive coach, mediator and group process facilitator. I'm now in the practicum phase of my Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University.
I've studied Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and combine it with the personal approach of Neff and Germer's evidenced-based Mindful Self-Compassion and Rick Carson's proven Gremlin Taming model.
My processes are individually tailored to help each client fully untangle their the life's experiences and turn them into survivable episodes. We'll use the tools to meet your specific needs to help the shift into a fulfilling and rewarding life experience.
Also, please note that I am a student member of both the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists. As such, I subscribe and adhere to their Codes of Conduct and Ethical Standards.
